Hamburg – Connected Infrastructure Capital (CIC) officially took over the Norra Hunna wind farm from Siemens Gamesa on May 18, 2021.
The wind farm in the Askersund region of Sweden has an installed capacity of 16.4 MW. Four SWT-DD-142 wind turbines were erected and with an annual production of 51 million kWh, approximately 12.000 4 person households can be supplied with green energy annually.
For CIC, this is the first wind farm project realized in Sweden.
During the construction phase CIC’s team has accompanied the project on site. Despite the restrictions caused by the Corona pandemic, the wind farm was completed within the planned construction time.
CIC will operate the Norra Hunna wind farm itself.
