Martin Heimes – Curriculum Vitae
Martin Heimes has over 20 years of expertise from various high management positions. From 2007 - 2011 he was Finance Director at Siemens Fujitsu Computers. In 2007 Martin Heimes moved to Vestas Central Europe (CEU), where he was a member of the Management Board until 2011 and a supervisory board member of various Vestas country organizations. In 2011, the path to independence followed with the foundation of VentusVentures GmbH - today VentusVentures Holding GmbH.
Martin Heimes is co-founder and managing partner of Connected Infrastructure Capital GmbH, founded in 2018.
Hans Joern Rieks – Curriculum Vitae
Hans Joern Rieks has been successfully active in the wind industry business for over 25 years. He draws his extensive expertise in various high management positions, including from 1995 -1999 as CEO & President – Vestas Vestas American Wind Technology Inc. and from 1999-2013 as CEO – Vestas Central Europe A/S and member of the Executive Board – Vestas Wind Systems A/S.
After a stopover as interim CEO at Global Energy Services SA, Hans Joern Rieks joined Siemens Wind Power A/S in 2014 as CEO UNA and held the position of CEO EMEA – Siemens AG-Wind Power Division / SIEMENS Gamesa Renewable Energy GmbH from 2015 – 2019.
Hans Joern Rieks is co-founder and Managing Partner of CIC GmbH, founded in 2018.

Lars Quandel – Curriculum Vitae
In his more than 20-year banking career, Lars Quandel has held various management positions, including in corporate banking, real estate, capital markets and derivatives. From 2004 to 2008, Quandel headed the Real Estate Structured Finance Team of Hamburg Commercial Bank in London and Hamburg. Since 2008 Lars Quandel has been active in the renewable energy sector. Until September 2019 he was Head of Energy & Infrastructure at Hamburg Commercial Bank. Since October 1st, 2019, Lars Quandel is Managing Director at CIC.
Christian Liebel – Curriculum Vitae
Since 2008 Liebel has held various key management positions. His last position was Managing Director at Momentum Deutschland GmbH.
He entered the wind industry in 2003 as Customer Relations Manager at NEG Micon. After the merger with Vestas Wind Systems A/S, Liebel laid the first foundations for the successful development of a sales and service organisation in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union in the position of Area Sales Manager for Vestas.
Bente Carstens – Curriculum Vitae
Bente Carstens has been working for the corporate group since April 2018. Initially as a Research Consultant at bizz energy Research. In April 2019, she became part of the wind and solar division which is managed by CIC since March 2020 as Senior Project Manager. Carstens completed her bachelor’s degree in Energy and Environmental Management (B.Eng.) at the University of Applied Sciences Flensburg in 2015, followed by a master’s degree in International Industrial Engineering and Management (M.Sc.) from 10/2015 at the Technical University Hamburg-Harburg.
Sabrina Tolle – Curriculum Vitae
Sabrina Tolle joined CIC in September 2020. As Junior Project Manager she is working in the Project Acquisition and Financing team. In 2019 Sabrina Tolle completed her studies of economics at Leibniz University in Hanover with a Master of Science in Accounting & Taxation. Besides her studies, Sabrina Tolle worked i.a. for several years in the controlling department of a management consultancy and completed internships at a well-known auditing company (PwC) as well as in the controlling of a large service company.

Lena Schleyer – Curriculum Vitae
Lena Schleyer joined CIC in October 2020. As Commercial Director, she is responsible for asset management and commercial optimization during the construction and operating phase of the wind energy and photovoltaic portfolio in Germany and abroad.
Lena Schleyer studied at the university of Karlsruhe and at the Ecole de Management Lyon. She graduated with a degree in industrial engineering in 2007. After her studies, Lena Schleyer first worked at Siemens' internal strategy consulting, then moved to Siemens Wind Power in 2012 (later Siemens Gamesa). For more than ten years she worked in various divisions and functions, most recently as Head of Commercial Sales Eastern Europe and DACH.

Holger Nass – Curriculum Vitae
Holger Nass has been active the international financial markets for almost three decades. He held management positions and headed equity sales desks at various organizations, mainly in Hamburg, and New York. Before joining VentusVentures Holding in 2019, he served as Head of Equity Sales at M.M. Warburg & CO for 10 years.
Holger Nass received an MBA from Texas Christian University in 1995 and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at WHU/Kellogg University.
As Head of Funding Nass will be responsible for the financing of projects and serve as a liaision to investors and financial institutions.

Michael Brenske – Curriculum Vitae
Michael Brenske has many years of professional experience as an engineer. He spent eight years as a ship engineer in various ranks including chief engineer on cargo and passenger ships worldwide. After his time at sea, Michael Brenske worked for almost three decades as Project Manager and Sales Engineer International Large Plant Construction for Power Plant Technology and Mineral Processing in the FLS Group at FLSmidth Hamburg GmbH, and until 2019 also as Area Sales Manager Asia, Australia, Brazil and Israel.
Dennis Oestermann – Curriculum Vitae
Dennis Oestermann has been working as a student assistant in project management and technical/commercial management of wind and solar parks in the VENTUSventures Group since the beginning of 2018 (CIC since March 2020). Oestermann is a trained mechatronics engineer. He plans to complete his bachelor’s degree in Regenerative Energy Systems and Energy Management – Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences in early 2021.
